Summary:
As the Sr. Quality Assurance Manager, you will spearhead the development and leadership of a robust Quality Assurance system. Your mission is to ensure that manufacturing processes consistently produce products that meet the highest standards, as outlined in AS9100 and the Quality Assurance Manual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA Team: Supervise, train, and evaluate QA personnel, ensuring efficient scheduling and tracking of activities.
- Uphold Quality Standards: Interpret and maintain quality standards, develop procedures, and promote preventive systems.
- Ensure Compliance: Implement inspection procedures and address supplier quality issues.
- Address Non-Conformance: Identify root causes, measure costs, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Collaborate: Work closely with customers, engineering, and operations to enhance processes.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with industry standards and conduct thorough audits.
- Team Development and Safety: Build strong relationships, develop high-performance teams, and promote a safe workplace.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience with preventive Quality Systems or equivalent military experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Systems.
- 15+ years in manufacturing or relevant military experience.
- Preferred Certifications: ASQ Certifications such as CQE, CQM, CRE, or CSSBB.
- Additional Requirements: 2+ years with NADCAP requirements.
