Position Overview: A leading bottling company is currently seeking a driven, motivated, and multi-faceted QA Supervisor. This role will be located in the greater Atlanta, GA area. The QA Supervisor oversees the plant's quality assurance activities, including syrup and beverage preparation, distribution, microbiology, sanitation, finished product analysis, package integrity testing, and process control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise quality assurance activities in line with Company policies and applicable laws.
- Conduct interviews, hire, and train new associates.
- Plan, assign, and oversee work tasks.
- Evaluate employee performance.
- Address and resolve complaints and issues.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including stormwater and wastewater data collection, hazardous material management, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and Company quality standards for products.
- Maintain Company Quality Standards and supervise associates to do the same.
- Investigate and report on consumer complaints specific to the plant and perform trend analysis, reporting findings to management.
- Supervise the plant's HACCP plan, GMP compliance, ISO compliance, auditing, and corrective action planning.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Food Science or related discipline (minimum) with 3+ years of related technical experience
- HACCP Certification preferred
- Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis Training preferred
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience working in GMP, ISO 9001, and FSSC 22000 environments
