They design, develop, manufacture, and market a range of products including automatic-dimming rearview mirrors for the automotive industry, fire protection products, and advanced electronic systems for the aerospace and commercial sectors
Position Purpose:
Lead and innovate vacuum coating processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and capacity. Develop new equipment and processes, and drive continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead process improvements for EC mirrors.
- Evaluate and enhance current processes.
- Develop new processes to boost quality and efficiency.
- Participate in product design and quoting for new products.
- Research and purchase new equipment.
- Lead new equipment design projects.
- Reduce process variation through data analysis.
- Solve production floor quality issues.
- Support troubleshooting with tools like Fishbones and 8D.
- Transition coating stacks from R&D to production.
- Collaborate across the organization.
Position Requirements:
- 4-year degree in engineering.
- Experience in mechanical design and SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in electrical schematics (AutoCAD/SolidWorks).
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs.
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab).
- Conduct experiments and analyze data.
- Suitable work schedule for production needs.
- Some travel required.
