Title: Supply Chain Planning Manager
Summary: A Fortune 500 company is looking to bring a Supply Chain Planning Manager to its team in the Racine area. This client is a global manufacturer of chemicals and specialty materials, as the #1 supplier in the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning team and creating process improvement opportunities.
The Manager's Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate scheduling align with forecasts to achieve on time delivery and meet customer requirements
- Integrate forecasting for finished goods inventory and prepare monthly capacity reviews for a 12 month forecast
- Develop continuous improvement projects for finished goods inventory
- Lead planning team to reduce obsolete inventory and manage all inventory reduction efforts
- Ensure service goals are met for "make to order" and "make to stock" inventory
- Collaborate cross functionally with operations, engineering, and demand planning teams
The Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related field
- 5+ years of experience with SAP and ERP Systems
- APICS Certification preferred
- Strong analytic and communication skills
