Our client is a leading company in the steel manufacturing industry and is looking to fill a critical management role. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in supply chain management, skilled in strategic sourcing, and excellent at fostering collaboration and managing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage demand planning, supply planning, scheduling, materials management, and inventory forecasting
- Develop and align sourcing strategies and supplier networks
- Maintain optimal stocking levels and oversee material movements
- Continuously improve departmental processes and procedures
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure data accuracy in ERP
- Foster collaboration, manage inventory, and evaluate personnel performance
- Lead and engage in work teams, ensuring safety, training, and motivation
Background Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management
- 2+ years of experience procuring steel
- Strong background in supply and demand planning
- Past warehousing experience is a plus
