$130,000 - $150,000 target base salary range (some flexibility available)
One of the nation's most well respected and rapidly growing Aerospace companies is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to implement procurement policies and procedures while leading a team.
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the entire supply chain process, providing leadership and aligning the cross-functional organization. The candidate will report directly into Site Director and will play a critical role in establishing elite processes within planning and procurement/ purchasing/ This role must sit in the Albany, NY area but relocation assistance is available.
The Supply Chain Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Assures processes for supply chain results are at at an elite level of internal and external satisfaction.
- Lead commodity strategy & lead supplier development.
- Materials Management
- Evaluates, Manages, & Selects all Suppliers.
- Collaborate with S&OP leader & Supply Chain leaders to ensure demand forecast is accurate.
- Lead, manage, & motivate a team of 4-5 Buyers
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA or master's in supply chain preferred strongly)
- 8+ years of supply chain experience
- 4+ years of supply chain leadership experience in Aerospace
- 3+ years of S&OP & ERP system experience
