They are seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager to oversee and optimise supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence in operations. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the automotive sector, fluency in English, and a proven track record of success in process tools utilisation and inventory planning management. This role requires adeptness in working within a matrix organisational structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for optimisation and cost reduction.
Lead supplier relationship management activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
Oversee inventory planning and management to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory.
Foster a culture of excellence and accountability within the supply chain and operations team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry.
Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
Proficiency in process tools utilisation and inventory planning management.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organisation.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving results and managing cross-functional teams.
Fluency in Italian is a plus
