We are currently working with a leading cosmetics manufacturer who is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Director. As the Strategic Sourcing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. You will be working closely with the supply chain team to ensure that the company's products are sourced at the best possible price, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. This is a hybrid role based out of Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sourcing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
- Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure that the company's products are sourced at the best possible price, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Continuously monitor supplier performance
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain
- Work closely with the product development team to ensure that new products are sourced at the best possible price, whilst maintaining the highest quality standards
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years sourcing experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
