DSJ Global is hiring for an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive supply chain knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business objectives and drive operational excellence.
- Oversee procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution functions.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Implement and maintain supply chain risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Drive initiatives to enhance supply chain sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Director of Supply Chain or in a similar senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is an asset).
