Position Overview: As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our entire supply chain operations, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products, while identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and stronger supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic supply chain plans that align with business goals and customer demand.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and development to ensure high performance.
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and supplier performance to anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions and risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, and Finance teams) to ensure accurate demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes, using data-driven insights to implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Negotiate contracts and build strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Lead the implementation of supply chain technologies and systems to improve visibility, traceability, and decision-making across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving measurable results.
- Experience with supply chain software systems and technologies (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration.
