Responsibilities for the Senior Logistics Manager:
- Lead and manage the site logistics team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize material flow and inventory management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure safety, quality, and data integrity in planning, warehousing, and shipping.
- Maintain strong relationships across the logistics network for a reliable supply chain.
- Manage relationships with external logistics providers and vendors.
- Manage budgets, focusing on volumes, inventories, and spending.
Requirements for the Senior Logistics Manager:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of logistics experience, 3+ years of which include experience managing a team.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
