Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Air & Ocean Freight) to lead and expand our business in Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening our market presence in air and ocean freight logistics. This role requires a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of international freight forwarding, market trends, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in air and ocean freight.
Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements with key customers and partners.
Work closely with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to expand market reach.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry.
Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight logistics, pricing structures, and global trade regulations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM systems, logistics software, and MS Office applications.
Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel across Switzerland as needed.
