A global logistics company with over 70 offices and more than 3,500 employees worldwide, is looking for an energetic and results-driven professional to lead our expansion in the Benelux region. As the key driver of our commercial development, you'll be at the forefront, building new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships.
This is a single contributor role that will require to grow out the sales department over time.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential accounts in the Road Freight LT and Contract Logistics sectors within the Benelux market.
- Generate and convert new sales leads into long-term, strategic customers.
- Manage and nurture relationships with key customers from a commercial standpoint.
- Act as the primary liaison between key customers and internal teams, taking on the role of Contract Manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales conditions are sustainable and mutually beneficial.
- Use your deep understanding of customer needs to guide solution implementation.
- Assist in the preparation of P&Ls and business plans for prospective clients.
- Identify and secure transportation partners, and support the company's physical expansion in the Netherlands and potentially Belgium.
- Actively contribute to the development of the European LTL Network project.
Your Profile:
- At least 6 years of experience in business development.
- In-depth knowledge of the Road Freight sector and the Benelux market.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about negotiation.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
