We have a current opportunity for a Regional Logistics Procurement Manager for a leading chemical manufacturing company. The position will be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional category strategies within the global procurement framework.
- Analyse market trends and implement risk management strategies for the portfolio.
- Lead regional sourcing strategy development and drive its implementation through major RFQs and negotiations.
- Negotiate contracts regionally and locally, ensuring favourable terms.
- Select, manage, and audit suppliers, optimising the portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and sourcing centres to deploy global strategies and agreements.
- Communicate market condition changes to key internal stakeholders and influence cost improvements.
- Prepare initiative plans and forecasts, driving cost reduction projects.
- Provide price forecasts and market trends for key commodities and services.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and resolve escalated supplier conflicts.
- Ensure vendor performance meets target levels.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Logistics Procurement.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- International exposure in previous roles.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
