Job Summary
The Quality Systems Supervisor ensures compliance with plant, corporate, customer, and industry standards. This role leads various quality systems, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), internal and external auditing, document control/change management, and supplier quality.
EH&S Responsibilities
- Implement EHS policies.
- Comply with EH&S regulations.
- Wear PPE.
- Report illnesses, injuries, and concerns.
- Attend EH&S training.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain QMS policies per AS9100.
- Administer CAPA system.
- Manage and lead audits.
- Obtain AS9100 Lead Auditor certification.
- Train employees on problem-solving and AS9100.
- Enhance quality systems for better performance and cost reduction.
- Lead document control and supplier quality teams.
- Communicate with suppliers.
- Analyze data and lead improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED with 5 years of experience and 2 years of leadership, OR associate/bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience and 2 years of leadership.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100.
- Knowledge of quality tools like CAPA, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, PPAP, FMEA, and root-cause analysis.
