Job Summary: As the Purchasing Manager for Transport and Distribution, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of transport and distribution services, ensuring the best value and performance. This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics sector. You will manage supplier relationships, optimize procurement processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for transportation and distribution services, aligning with company goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, conducting audits and establishing strong partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreements and resolving any issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, operations, finance) to integrate procurement activities with business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on transport and distribution.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
