Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Greater Memphis Area
Salary: $87,000 - $115,000 + 8% bonus
Summary:
A reputable food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Engineer for their Memphis Metropolitan Area facility.
Responsibilities:
The ideal Project Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement complex projects
- Manage several simultaneous projects, ensuring adherence to budget and funding requirements
- Offer expert advice on the conceptual design, development, and implementation of improvements in manufacturing processes for quality and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local engineering regulations and directives
- Identify technological alternatives and emerging advancements related to the company's manufacturing processes and facilities
- Communicate and negotiate with external vendors and equipment manufacturers to secure the best value services and goods
Qualifications
The ideal Project Engineer will have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's in Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of experience in food manufacturing
- 5+ years in project work for food or beverage
- Experience in using AUTO CAD
- CAPEX experience preferred
- Vendor experience
