A National, full-service architecture, engineering, and design firm is looking to grow their architectural division due to their increasing project workload in the Pacific Northwest. Their architectural specialties lie across the healthcare, hospitality, sports and government industries. They are looking to bring on a Project Architect in their Tacoma WA location that can integrate their clients, designers, and contractors. This Project Architect would be assigned to complex projects that have a rewarding impact on the company's goals and initiatives. This role requires a strong attention to detail, passion for teamwork, and a growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in Design Discussions and Idea Generation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborative discussions to develop innovative design concepts.
- Collaborate on Design Work: Create drawings, models, and 3D images to visualize design ideas.
- Lead and Direct Professionals: Oversee a team of non-licensed and other professionals to coordinate the design process and produce technical documents.
- Create Graphical Images and Detailed Designs in Revit: Use Revit software to generate detailed graphical images and designs.
- Attend Client and Project Meetings: Participate in meetings with clients and design professionals for business development and ongoing project discussions.
Requirements:
- 5 - 10 years of experince in the Architecture field
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degreen in Architecture
- Fluent in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
- Quality communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
