Job Summary:
A global leading manufacturer and marketer of a variety of different beverages is searching for a Production Supervisor to help lead one of their primary northwest facilities. The company is looking for a high energy, experienced professional with excellent people skills to direct the production team and drive efficiency. At a company where internal growth is strong, the production supervisor will work with their peers to set production performance standards to align and exceed the organizations standards.
The ideal Production Supervisor will have the following skillset:
- 2+ years related work experience in food industry manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of supervision experience
- Ability to effectively supervise line employees
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Experience with Lean manufacturing
- Must be able to work in a high-speed manufacturing environment, team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, and fast paced.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Direct employees in identifying and correcting any unsafe conditions
- Uphold constant improvement in the making of quality products as well as reducing costs while following good manufacturing practices
- Maximize quality cases produced per hour
- Supervise the production of quality product through continual monitoring of line operations
- Produce product of the highest quality at the lowest possible cost
- Assign hourly employees to production line positions which maximize productivity
