Production Planner Opportunity - Leader in the Environmental and Chemicals Industry
My client is seeking an experienced Production Planner to become an integral part of their team in Ellwood City, PA. In this role, you'll ensure efficient operations by managing timely order production and raw material procurement processes that align with customer delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Plan production orders and procure raw materials to support on-time deliveries while maintaining safety stock levels.
- Engage actively in daily meetings for assigning priorities within the supply chain framework.
- Analyze open order reports ensuring alignment between planned activities and actual needs.
- Collaborate closely across functions such as logistics, quality control, maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
Skills:
Supply Chain Management: Utilize your knowledge from a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience to oversee end-to-end supply chain activities effectively.
ERP Systems: Showcase strong capabilities using ERP systems for integrated business process management - key for successful inventory tracking & resource allocation tasks within manufacturing
Analytical Skills: Leverage robust analytical abilities along with data analysis expertise which is vital when it comes down decision-making scenarios regarding product scheduling adjustments etcetera
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree related discipline (or substantial practical experiences).
- At least 3 years of planning experience
Preferred Experience Includes:
-Familiarity working SAP environment;
-Advanced Excel usage competence level preferred
-Chemicals industry experience
