A top FoodBev organization in South Florida is looking for a Procurement Manager - Packaging, who will be responsible for managing the procurement of packaging materials and ingredients. This individual will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure that quality, cost, and sustainability standards are met.
This role is on-site in Miami, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for packaging materials.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure packaging materials meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand packaging needs and requirements.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement practices.
- Drive sustainability initiatives in packaging procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of procurement experience (ideally with packaging or ingredients)
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems
- Strong in data analytics
