As Procurement Manager, working closely with the Director of Inter-modal Logistics Service, you will build and develop robust category plans and strategies, while establishing key strategic suppliers for your category area.
You will be responsible for:
- Find and engage reliable suppliers by analysing the market based on the needs of the company
- Evaluate and monitor existing agreements on pricing and service to ensure a constant alignment with best market practices
- Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
- Preparing and presenting reports to management/board members and actively participating in management meetings
- Manage a network of providers and stay informed of supplier developments in order to propose innovative solutions
- Set up and monitor KPI's
- Set up efficient negotiations (administration)
- Participate in networking events
- Organise meetings with the operational services to identify their needs and to monitor whether agreements are respected
- Responsible for correct pricing
- Follow-up on major tenders
- Ensuring a good line of communication with the head office
