Position Summary
The Process Manager, reporting to the Plant Manager, will be based at our Seabrook, New Jersey facility. This role involves overseeing daily food processing operations, methods, and providing technical training to employees.
Primary Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to ensure daily technical follow-up of production procedures and specifications.
- Ensure methods and processing control systems comply with Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Coach employees to maintain high work and safety standards, ensuring adherence to safe work practices and company policies.
- Maintain a safe work environment, minimizing hazards and ensuring compliance with OHSA and internal safety policies.
- Identify and analyze problems and abnormalities, proposing practical and effective solutions.
- Establish and maintain up-to-date production and sanitation procedures.
- Train plant employees on existing processes and new technologies.
- Verify the effectiveness, cost, and safety of detergents used for sanitation, optimizing their dosage.
- Conduct technical studies and gather research data for the development and implementation of existing technologies.
- Plan and manage technological tests for materials, packaging, cleaning, and sanitation products in collaboration with various departments.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to resolve technical complaints about containers and packaging materials.
- Maintain effective communication with various departments.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage 1-2 employees.
- Monitor employee productivity, providing feedback, coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed.
- Conduct training and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Education and Experience
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Technical training in food technology/safety or similar work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the processing industry, preferably in the food and beverages sector.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
