Title: Process Control Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: W-2 Direct Hire, Full Time
Pay: $100,000 - 125,000 according to level of experience - open to negotiation for senior candidates

We are looking for a dynamic Automation Engineer to be a part of our team, driving excellence in our chemical manufacturing and water treatment sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced automation systems, focusing on DCS and PLC platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize control schemes, including PID, cascade control, feed-forward, and other advanced control strategies.
- Lead HMI design and SCADA system integration to ensure seamless operations and data-driven decision-making.
- Provide on-site support for greenfield projects, ensuring smooth start-ups and adherence to safety protocols.
- Continuously monitor and optimize processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal resource consumption.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong background in automation and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, especially with platforms like Allen-Bradley, Siemens S7, and Rockwell PlantPAX.
- Experience with HMI design and SCADA systems, including platforms like FactoryTalk, Wonderware Intouch, and WinCC.
- Familiarity with industries such as chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and water treatment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and provide innovative solutions.
