Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute partial and small projects, including process engineering calculations and optimisation's within the plant.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new plants or the conversion of existing ones, providing cost estimates, deadlines, and functionality assessments.
- Perform risk analyses, operational tests, and conversions, while also providing deputy and departmental services.
- Ensure professional and cost-effective maintenance while maintaining sufficient plant availability, including liaising with authorities.
- Utilize SAP for tasks such as placing orders, conducting technical-commercial evaluations, and optimising plant and personnel deployment through capacity planning.
- Collaborate in monitoring and adhering to budget allocations for maintenance, conversions, and investments within the designated area.
- Update and verify plant documentation, such as flow charts, zone and installation plans, and parts lists, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
- Support plant team and workshop personnel training on process and plant knowledge, as well as safety, hygiene, environment, and quality (cGMP).
Key Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar, or technical college degree FH/HF.
- Experience in Biotech/Pharma production is preferred.
- Good understanding of GMP standards; familiarity with COMOS (Plant Engineering Software) and SAP is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, with strong teamwork skills.
- Structured, focused, and well-organised work approach.
- Solution-oriented mindset with openness to new ideas.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
