Position Summary: Maintenance Supervisor (2nd Shift)
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations and ensure seamless facility performance. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing a team, optimizing equipment efficiency, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of maintenance team members.
- Assign tasks, provide constructive feedback, and support skill enhancement initiatives.
- Enforce disciplinary policies as needed to maintain operational consistency.
Operational Management
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of critical systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, conveyors, scanners, and label printers.
- Plan and prioritize tasks to ensure uninterrupted operations and equipment reliability.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and cleanliness protocols.
- Communicate updates to policies and procedures, providing training as required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal departments such as Operations, IT, and Engineering to address maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with external vendors to manage contracts and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Maintenance Strategy
- Develop cost-saving measures and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
- Schedule and organize maintenance activities to optimize productivity and operational flow.
Project Leadership
- Lead initiatives to improve tools, shop-floor systems, and maintenance software (CMMS).
- Oversee the timely completion of work orders and ensure accurate documentation for records.
Continuous Improvement
- Conduct regular inspections to identify opportunities for enhancing processes.
- Acquire necessary tools, equipment, and resources to boost team efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience & Expertise
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical maintenance, preferably in a distribution or automated environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a leadership role is strongly preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.

- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, CMMS tools, and related technologies.
- Effective communication skills and a results-driven mindset.
Decision-Making & Resourcefulness
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, resolve repair issues, and act as a stand-in for the Maintenance Manager when needed.
