One of Europe's leading Environmental Services companies is recruiting a Lead Buyer, HR to join it's team.
The company has been on an impressive growth trajectory since its conception in 2017 and they now have over 6,800 employees across 174 operating sites!
As Lead Buyer, reporting to the Category Lead, Indirects, you will manage the companies HR category, creating, embedding and implementing strategy and rolling out their new Temp Labour/Contingent Workforce procurement road map.
This is a critical area of the business and a complex, high value project which needs a market expert to lead and shape.
As Lead Buyer you will be responsible for:
- Building External Relationships: You create and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, both existing and new.
- Market Analysis and Category Strategies: You dive deep into the market to spot and capitalise on new opportunities. You develop your procurement strategies, guiding the policies to follow.
- Negotiating Like a Pro: You secure the best contracts and negotiate rates as if it's second nature to you.
- Contracting: While you're not a lawyer, you can critically and thoroughly analyse a contract proposal for risks and assess it professionally from a commercial perspective.
- Collaboration: You coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine and implement procurement strategies.
- Monitoring Performance: You regularly monitor your categories and suppliers.
- Optimisation: You continuously improve our procurement processes to save costs and increase efficiency.
