Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and discern purchasing requirements.
- Track orders and guarantee punctual delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
- Assess supplier offers and negotiate favourable terms.
- Identify and on board suppliers to enhance profitability and streamline operations.
- Prepare comprehensive cost analyses.
- Manage invoice and contract documentation.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors and oversee their activities.
- Coordinate with receiving and warehouse personnel to ensure product quality and accuracy in shipments.
Requirements:
- Preferably possess previous experience in hospitality procurement.
- Proficient in purchasing software and computer applications.
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
- Strong aptitude for negotiation and analysis.
- Fluent in both German and English.
