I'm seeking a highly motivated Head of Big Data & Digitalization responsible for leading and overseeing the entire digital stack and framework surrounding our end-to-end supply chain of my client.
In this role will drive the expansion of my client's supply chain digital framework, developing cutting-edge data science applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and operationalize digital solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- Build and implement real-time data analytics platforms to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and lead time reductions. Use machine learning to predict disruptions, optimize safety stocks, and improve supplier performance.
- Partner with procurement, production, logistics, finance, and IT to ensure seamless implementation of digital solutions across all supply chain layers. Facilitate better decision-making through integrated data and insights.
- Build and implement real-time data analytics platforms to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and lead time reductions. Use machine learning to predict disruptions, optimize safety stocks, and improve supplier performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to automate and re-engineer core supply chain processes. Leverage robotic process automation (RPA), AI, and cloud technologies to optimize procurement, production, and distribution operations.
- Lead the organization through the transformation process, ensuring buy-in from senior management, smooth adoption by operational teams, and clear communication across departments. Promote a culture of innovation and agility across the supply chain.
Your profile:
- 10+ years relevant experience leading supply chain transformation/digitalization
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing industry. Strong proficiency in SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent coding skills with experience in data engineering. Proficiency in SQL and Power BI data visualization tools is essential.
- Proficiency in data-driven problem-solving and AI/ML applications for simulation, prediction, and prescriptive techniques.
