Head of IT Procurement
A growing technology firm is looking for a Head of IT Procurement to lead it's strategic sourcing team.
The Head of IT Procurement will lead a team, manage supplier relationships, and strategize on the future of the organization. This is a high-level, high-impact position within the organization.
The Head of IT Procurement will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors in the technology category including hardware, software, SaaS, data center, and high-performance compute.
- Lead category management activities
- Manage the entire P2P process
- Lead the procurement operations team
- Offer an executive presence and mange relationships with the C-suite and global teams
- Hire on new talent and develop the skill sets of the current team
- Manage complex contracts for SaaS and services
- Manage the financial metrics for the organization
- Strategize on the future of the procurement department
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in a management role
- Experience in strategic sourcing for hardware, software, SaaS, data centers, etc.
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
