Role Responsibilities:
Capital Project Involvement:
- Engage in full life cycle of project management from design to commissioning
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering Manager, project team, and contractors
Project Management:
- Oversee projects valued from $10k to $1M+.
- Handle small and large projects as required.
Initial Preparation:
- Support project justification, safety analysis, and detailed design.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
Post-Design and Construction:
- Procure materials, select contractors, and supervise installation.
- Participate in commissioning and start-up activities.
Operations & Maintenance Support:
- Troubleshoot, improve, and inspect electrical systems.
- Update drawings and manage medium voltage system upkeep.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering field
- Project management process skills, including cost estimating, procurement, scheduling and planning and execution of commissioning plans
- Hands-on experience with installation, modification and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation and controls systems
- Familiarity with 480V electrical distribution systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs and Drives and RSLogix software
- Experience working in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing facility
- Experience with networking layout and hardware
