Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to oversee and optimize the performance of electrical and instrumentation systems on-site. In this role, you will manage system reliability, troubleshoot equipment failures, drive continuous improvement efforts, and ensure the adoption of best practices to support operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Smart Plant Instrumentation Intools database to ensure seamless system operation.
- Develop and review electrical and instrumentation Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, establishing frequencies for execution to maximize equipment uptime.
- Design and manage corporate dashboards displaying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis on electrical equipment and instrumentation to identify and mitigate issues effectively.
- Ensure the site utilizes the most effective, economical, and reliable technologies to meet business and customer needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and best practices to enhance site asset reliability.
- Lead change management efforts through the Management of Change (MOC) process to improve systems and processes.
- Address gaps identified in electrical and instrumentation programs through audit findings to improve system performance and integrity.
- Oversee electrical and instrumentation projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Perform instrument calculations using Conval software to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of electrical and/or instrumentation engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
