Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS and Facilities Manager to oversee our environmental, health, and safety programs and manage facility operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting a safe workplace, and maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS practices and facilities management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Provide EHS training and resources to employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and compliance status.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
Facilities Management Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all company facilities.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, including maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility safety and functionality.
- Manage space planning and utilization to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in EHS management and facilities operations, preferably in medical device.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and EHS tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) are a plus.
