Position: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager
Location: Pueblo, CO
Compensation: 120k-130k base salary + benefits
Role Overview:
As EHS Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses, developing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS topics, including safety protocols, emergency response, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with management and employees to foster a proactive safety culture and promote best practices.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our EHS programs are up-to-date and effective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing EHS programs and driving safety improvements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
