Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves monitoring safety practices, conducting training, and collaborating with various departments to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain EHS documentation, including reports, training records, and compliance records.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS standards, practices, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Stay updated on EHS regulations and industry best practices, ensuring company policies reflect current standards.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate EHS-related communication and outreach programs within the organization.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Health, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in EHS administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are a plus.
