Director of Quality

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Quality to lead our quality assurance and quality control programs. The Director of Quality will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, develop and implement quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver safe, high-quality food and beverage products.

This role is critical to supporting the growth of our company and maintaining the trust of our customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and strategic vision to manage and enhance the quality function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, HACCP, SQF/BRC/ISO, and other applicable standards.
• Monitor and interpret changes in regulations and implement required updates to processes and documentation.
• Oversee third-party audits and certifications, ensuring successful outcomes.

• Lead and mentor the quality assurance and quality control teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
• Provide training to employees on quality standards, food safety, and best practices.

• Establish and oversee product testing protocols to maintain consistency and safety.
• Investigate customer complaints, non-conformance issues, and root causes. Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Partner with R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality is integrated into all processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance/control in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, FSMA) and GFSI standards (e.g., SQF, BRC).
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
