Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost savings and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of components and materials.
Mitigate risks in the supply chain by developing contingency plans and alternate sourcing strategies.
Lead and mentor the procurement team, setting performance metrics and fostering professional growth.
Ensure compliance with automotive industry regulations, ethical sourcing standards, and corporate policies.
Leverage data analytics and market trends to drive procurement decisions and cost optimizations.
Work closely with finance and operations teams to manage budgets and forecast procurement expenditures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within the automotive industry.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Knowledge of automotive industry regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.
Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
Willingness to travel as required for supplier audits, negotiations, and industry events.
