DSJ Global is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity in Paris, where our client are seeking an experienced leader to start ASAP as Country Head of Logistics. Our client are the global leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions, with over 60,000 employees globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations for France, reporting to the Commercial Director & Head of Logistics Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies that ensure efficient transportation services across all French locations for the largest business segment
- Manage teams involved in planning, organising distribution schedules ensuring timely delivery
of products at optimal cost levels.
- Lead on network optimisation, execution of transportation, competitive sourcing & digitisation in supply chain
- Manage road logistics, fleets, fulfilment of delivery requirements
- Be involved in hands-on daily leadership with high responsibility to implement concepts & strategy
Qualifications & Skills Required:
-A strong background of logistics leadership in industrial background
-Excellent communication skills in French/English language
-Proven track record demonstrating strategic development abilities encompassing areas like road network optimisation, fleet management, dispatch logistics, fulfilment etc.
-Ability to lead (roughly 25 personnel) hands-on in day-to-day operations while sustaining the strategic outlook to continuously improve processes
