We are currently recruiting for a Category Manager for a leading Food and Beverage company with a strong reputation in the market. This is a Hybrid position based out of the Greater Boca Raton Area, FL.
Category Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies for Frozen Food and Center of Plate food categories.
- Analyze category performance data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to drive category performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure product quality and availability.
- Lead a team of buyers and strategic sourcing professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for products within the categories.
Category Manager Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food retail or food production.
- Experience in Category Management.
- Experience with Frozen Foods or Center of Plate
