DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Plastics Composites manufacturer that is looking to expand its team with a Automation Engineer who will support electrical controls projects and handle troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Able to modify and maintain electrical installations, safety systems and communication networks.
- Ability to write and modify industrial robot programs involving robotic automation. Basic level is a must and advanced level is a plus. Knowledge of Motoman, KUKA and FANUC system would be ideal.
- Ability to write and modify programmable logic controllers using ladder logic, and industrial controls systems using parameters configuration manuals. Complete knowledge of RSLinx, RSLogix5, 500 and 5000(preferable) is a must.Able to install and configure software. Work with IT department will be required from time to time.
- Able to work on a Program team on the selection and implementation of automated equipment and/or software.
- A thorough knowledge in industrial control systems including electrical wiring, relay logic, motor drives, and instrumentation.
- Ability to read schematics and blue prints.
- Ability to learn quickly or self-teach using search engines and/or manuals to get information.
- Available to work with suppliers and outside service teams to gain support and high quality services.
- Able to protect company's properties and information with full responsibility.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree required in electrical engineering, electronic engineering or mechatronic engineering.
- Minimum two years' related work experience required.
