A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking an Account Manager. This role involves growing business through cold calling, managing pipelines, and closing deals. You will be responsible for handling the entire sales process and working with Marketing & Inside Sales to coordinate on projects to meet your targets.
Responsibilities for the Account Manager:
Represent and promote industrial product line to potential and existing customers.
- Build and maintain business relationships, providing solutions for customer projects.
- Assess customer needs and work with field sales specialists to offer comprehensive product solutions.
- Service existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts within your territory.
- Focus sales efforts by analyzing existing accounts and past issues, adjusting sales presentations accordingly.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations.
- Increase sales and market share through daily customer contact, lead follow-up, and cold calling.
- Work closely with the inside sales team to ensure product availability and resolve technical issues.
Requirements for the Account Manager:
Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of related sales experience, preferably in industrial sales.
- Proven record to identify potential new customers and build a relationship for revenue growth.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management tools preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
